Halloween 2011

Halloween was a lot of fun this year! Dan and I even went to a party and dressed up for the first time in many years! And, our community puts on a fabulous "Trunk or Treat" for the kids. Great fun!

Kelly and I both lost our puppies!

 I loved Andrew's rendition of "Trailer Trash" So creative!

 Dan was a "blind ref""  I thought that was a great idea for a coach!

 Our party host and hostesses did a great job with the scary food!

 My little goblins are picking out their own costumes these days...no more cute little characters, we were dressed as ....

 I took the boys back to the house we had the party at the night before to trick or treat... they had so many great decorations!

The costume box came out today.  I had fun playing dress up with the boys....

 It doesn't much get much better than this... just being silly with my kids!

The Best Pumpkins Ever!

We had a lot of fun carving pumpkins this year... one of the boys had "bought" a book of those patterns at Awanas, so we tried those for the first time.

First, we had to cut the tops off of our pumpkins and get all the ooey-gooey guts out. With three boys, that was, of course, the most enjoyable part. Jayden had a lot fun taking a dare to eat some (gross!), and pretending he was throwing it up... ewww
