A Decade of Hair!

The year in review blog post, or even better, the decade in review!  Although these posts are my favorite to read and write, it seemed daunting to attempt this today! So, on a silly note, I opted for the Hair in Review post!  The two of you that read my blog already know how goofy I am, this only serves to confirm it! Notice the hair color changes... at the beginning of the decade I had a few gray hairs, and by the end, I am completely "salt and pepper!"  (Or at least I think... I'm not going to find out!)

Michigan, Part 2

We drove to downtown Detroit and ate dinner in the Compuware Building at the Hard Rock Cafe. 

   Dad brought his tripod and got some awesome photos.    Rylan enjoyed his mac and cheese and apparently had short term memory loss, because he made my parents laugh on the drive home about 30 minutes later when he asked what was for dinner.

What is it with the “husbands” not smiling in these pics?  They WERE happy to be there! (I think!)

     

We make anything into a photo opp. ex. little flags=pics… and Jayden with his gang signs…

  We bribed the boys and told them they could do a silly pic if they all smiled (and no gang signs!) on the first one. Jayden didn’t get the memo!

And, before we left, the boys had to re-enact the revolving door scene from Elf …

And, Dan took the boys to a light show in the area, while I wrapped gifts, and … because he’s my husband and knows how I am about pics.. he took some..

  And, arrive my sister, Angie and her adorable boyfriend, Matt, and their “ginormous” dog, Clem, for Christmas Eve.Taking a silly “sorority pic” with my baby sis!   

We teased Mom that it looks like she just jumped into this pic!

 

Clem dressed up as Santa… boots and all, but getting one decent pic was a challenge!

We finished the evening by fighting over who was going to sprinkle putting out reindeer food and watching the movie, A Christmas Story.

 

Sometimes

Sometimes on Christmas Break, you are a lazy bum (reference my new snuggie hanging on the green couch in front of the tv) and don't make sure your kids get exercise....

And by the end of the evening, they are having Ultimate Fighting Championship in the playroom... (notice JJ, airborne)

But, eventually the fighting subsides, and then things are "okay" again!
