I don't want to be a "Debbie Downer" (for those of you have happened to catch the SN
L skit) but sometimes it dawns on me that I won't always have three LITTLE boys w
ho are enthusiastic about every little thing. There MAY
come a time when instead of three little boys just dyin' to decorate the tree, I may have three teenage boys who think we're totally dorky for getting all excited about decorating the tree. Just as I have the same fond memories of putting on ornaments with my childhood family, our boys LOVE to dig through the ornament box to find the ones they made or that were purchased especially for them. As a sentimental sort (understatement for those of you who know me well), the Christmas tree is like a scrapbook of Christmases past containing ornaments from friends, former students and athletes, and of course, homemade ornaments made by our personal favorite artists!
