Being Bryce at Eleven

Even though I’m noticing a bit of a “tweenager” attitude in my firstborn, he is still my ever pleasing boy who will do anything for his mama. So, when I needed a model to play around with aperture and other settings for portraits on my camera, all I had to do was bribe him with a Sonic milkshake and he obliged.

When he saw this picture, Bryce said, “I’m singing, I’m in a forest, and I’m singing!”

I'm in a forest and I'm SINGINGGGG

The effect in the photo below is what I was trying to get. They call it bokeh. The light was shining through the trees. What a beautiful backdrop for one of my favorite smiles in the world.c1

To me, the picture below is sooo Bryce. Full of personality.Bryce 2011-2-22 (3)

My handsome feller.

I like the dark green  in the background of this one.

We laughed and he made silly faces like he used to when I photographed him when he was little.Bryce 2011-2-22 (24)
