It's crazy busy around here, but we know no other way. In fact, when summer rolls around, we'll go into shock without every minute planned. We had fun watching the Superbowl! Is it me, or were some of the commericals especially funny this year? We loved and rewound (is that a word?) so that we could watch them twice... "Stay away from Mama, and stay away from my Doritos!" and all the Dorito commercials and the Casual Fridays one, to name a few. OH, and GEAUX SAINTS!
Dan and I even wore Saints colors...
We've been doing a lot of basketball (The Lady Hornets are headed to the playoffs!) and the Hooks Junior Hornets are hooping it up four nights a week (ahhh!)!
Above is Coach B's seniors giving him a poem they wrote (sniff!) him at Senior night last Friday.. very emotional! I need to brag on my husband - he is an amazing coach. He is truly gifted in coaching. He is highly competitive, but his heart is in the right place. He sees basketball and other high school sports as a metaphor for life, and he truly coaches his player toward not only sports successes, but life success. I am so proud to call him mine.
I find it very difficult to get good pics at Basketball games with the flourescent lighting.

crap items to take to school for Friday... class treats, teacher treats, and cards times 3 kids really adds up... sheesh!
And, in other news, our very own, Bryce won the Regional Science Fair! He was so excited!
Stay posted for a 10 year old's birthday (Yes, my millenium baby turns 10 tomorrow- puts a knot in my stomach to type that!).
