Here in the Northeast corner of Texas, we don’t really get very much snow, but this year, we did! Believe me, over 4 1/2 inches of snow was a really big deal! So much fun for the kids and the grown-up kids!
We watched the snow fall all day at school, and couldn’t wait to get home and play in it!
The dogs had never seen snow before, they enjoyed running around in it!

I love this shot of Jayden looking up at one of the snow covered evergreens in our backyard.
Allie was having a great time running around in the snow!
The backyard snowman!
I just loved the way the snow fell onto the branches of the big trees, and then fell off in big heaps.
Down our road.
The poor Texas cows were probably freezing!
Snow-covered misteletoe
This doesn’t happen to our hoop very much!
The front yard snowman (with a tiny head!)
And, this is what I saw out the window after I played outside.. what a view for a Texas girl! And the best part? They cancelled school for the next day!
