The wedding was at Hunters’ Glen Baptist church, where I grew up as a kid. I was baptized there and spent much of my youth days growing up, going to camps, mission trips, etc. and making so many lifelong friends. It is always special to return there. The wedding was beautiful with greens and purples!
Katie and Adam.
My sister, Angie is closest in age to Katie, so they were like sisters in their early years, before the family moved to Michigan in 1994. Angie was a bridesmaid. Above she is escorted by Scott, brother of the bride. I love this picture. (By the way, no one is even phased when they see me with my camera, they’ll even stop and pose in the middle of a wedding so I can get the perfect shot. Love it!!!)
Ang was posing with the bridal party and she didn’t even know I was zoomed in on her, and the professional photographer said, “Okay, Let’s take a silly one!” And, this is what I got… perfection!
The beaming bride… I love this moment, after the ceremony, when the bride is finally relaxed because the nerve racking part is over… woo hoo, time to party!
A few candids of some of my favorite people first… sisters!
Hadn’t seen these before.. moss covered monograms. A for Adam, K for Katie on the doors into the sanctuary. Beauty.
Love this… Rylan’s shirttail out, Jayden loosening his tie… Let’s get to the party!
Bride and Groom… first dance!
Our table… it took like a hundred tries to get this shot right. :)
I warned you, Jill and I are very silly. When no one was looking, we stole some weird shots with the cakes and fruit!
Tammy with Jazz hands… my signature move. (or so I’ve been told!)
The
bride dancing with her daddy, Bill. This pic makes me happy!
I love Katie’s dancing shoes -“I Do” Converse
Angie caught the bouquet and Matt caught the boutonniere… hmmm… almost like the planned it!
Still having fun!
The next afternoon, brunch at The Blue Goose, Mom and Dad’s favorite Mexican restaurant.
Great times!
