Excerpt from A Prayer in Spring
by Robert Frost (1915)
Oh, give us pleasure in the flowers to-day;
And give us not to think so far away
As the uncertain harvest; keep us here
All simply in the springing of the year.

Someone told me about a little challenge they do each spring....to prepare for Easter. Each child plants grass seed in a small pot and they care for, water, and sun their pots to see who cultivates the best growth by the time Easter Sunday arrives. Mine are a bit young for this, but you might be able to! And, you could do it for anything.....thought that was cute!
