The Bad News and Good News about Friday

I had to take a sick little (or big!) Brycie to the doctor Friday. It was actually one of those offices where you can just drop in, so you can imagine the fun we were having after a long week, and a long day of work and school, and then straight to the dr for lots of waiting, and then another hour at the pharmacy. Letting the boys take pictures with my cell phone kept us all amused. By the way, Bryce tested negative for strep, so he probably has some sort of virus... he seemed better today, but isn't it the saddest thing ever to see your little ones sick?

We were posing with our sad faces because we don't like it when Bryce is sick.

Now for the good news! When I finally got home and fed everyone a late dinner, my very good friend who I have barely seen over the past 15 years called and wanted to know if she and her four beautiful children who were in route from Houston to Mississippi could crash with us before the last 6 hours of the drive. She got here about an hour later... what a fun surprise! We got to relax and catch up a little. What a special treat!!!
